Otherwise the add on has been sitting in the garage. Bought this brand new, just upgraded to Piston X Pro. Kuat has exceptional customer service and lifetime warranty so new owner should have confidence this is going to last for a long time. If you are wanting to remove the 2 tray add on bike rack from time to time this is the rack to get. I had the Thule XT 4 tray setup before the Kuat and it was almost impossible to take it on and off because of on the Thule the lever is on the top which makes it super complicated to remove easily. This Kuat setup is the bees knees, super easy to take off the 2 tray add on when not needed.
