@gabriel-mission9: I believe at that performance level the riders prioritize the team rather than the bike frame because they can make anything work and the components add a lot to the way the bike behaves. That said, as a privateer you also test different bikes and don’t want to choose one that doesn’t fit your style where you’d have to alter your body position etc. You want to feel good on your bike and the Supreme feels very different to most other DH rigs. Compared to a Demo or v10 it’s less maneuverable and more like being on rails with little option to correct if you didn’t set up right way ahead while something that you can flick around more easily won’t carry the speed the same way. It’s a trade off that feels very different and I think that’s what people mean when they say they don’t like a particular bike. The 2 extremes in my opinion would be the Supreme and the Furious. All other DH bikes are trying to strike a balance somewhere in between.
