Hi Guys, Selling my 2014 Devinci Spartan XP Please note, the bike is actually an XL but I have listed it in the Large category as Devinci make their frames on the small side and its about the size of most other large bikes. I bought the bike second hand for £2250 around 9 months ago but it had only seen about 50 miles use and was like new. To be honest, its simply the best bike I have ever had the pleasure to ride, I've used it for the usual red routes / some black routes at the trail centres and a few longer adventures too. Its great to pedal up hills and goes down hills like nothing you have ever experienced. Reason for selling is nowadays I only really ride the red routes or some adventures up the local hills and this bike is far too much for what I need. I bought a fat bike with 100mm travel and it suits me perfectly. As you can imagine, I've not used this bike for any downhill or racing. Its been well maintained and cleaned after most rides. There is a few bad points as always. The rear brake lever got bent last time I was out on it, its still usable but ideally a new one would be better. There's some marks on teh cranks from my boots / shoes There is the odd mark here and there, its nothing major at all, but its now a showroom / brand new bike remember. Price now reduced by more than £200. Bike also comes with a spare rear tyre which is almost new For sale is my beloved Lapierre Spicy 516. I purchased the bike new in April 2013 from Evans Cycles. The RRP is £3099. The bike comes with original purchase receipt, all manuals. Most components and the frame are still in warranty. I've installed upgrades costing close to £200. Current weight with pedals is 13.6kg ( 29.9lbs ). The bike has been mostly ridden on the 7 stanes red routes and has seen no downhill or rough use. It has been well protected with M3 carbon stickers in all strategic points, including top tube to protect from scratching from break lever. There are some minor scratches/scuffs typical for light use. The bike has been kept in my heated garage and hand washed. Altogether the mechanical condition is very good. Everything work same as when I bought the bike. I have regularly cleaned and regressed headset, bottom bracket, suspension bearings and bushings with Finish Line bearing lube and copper anti-seize lube where appropriate. Break pads has been replaced with sintered and breaks bleed.
