Anton Cooper Criticizes Albstadt World Cup Course for Lack of Technicality
The question here is why? Why would they choose to make these "improvements"? Was it something in Albstadt's long term plan, or something that the UCI mandated? I could ride my wife's Townie around this course now from the looks of things.

Red Bull Denied Drink Exclusivity on the Podium and Hot Seat in Maribor
Surprised at all of the backlash here, it is no different than what major sponsors of other sporting events are doing. Reebok did similar for both UFC and Crossfit where they invested a lot of money. Athletes are only able to wear their gear during televised events, even if sponsored by other companies. Bottom line is, RB has dropped serious dollars on mountain biking and related coverage. Would everyone rather they pack up and abandon the sport? Then what? We go back to the Stone Age with no live coverage and MAYBE a photo epic from Pinkbike? Remember all of the bitching that goes on here when there is no live stream of an event?!? This is going to be an unpopular opinion but with the money they drop on the sport, RB are entitled to a certain level of privilege.

Video: Friday Fails #66
The guy at 0:15 airs it out nicely, but just a bit too slow to avoid casing the jump. Busted his frame in half too, to add insult to injury. :\
