Rocky Mountain Flatline Park - Downhill Bike

$550 GBP
For sale here is my much loved 2010 Rocky Mountain Flatline Park. I can truly say I am gutted to be selling this but after purchasing an all mountain bike last year, this bike has not seen any use, the last time being a trip to the Alps last year, where it more than dealt with everything. Since then it has been a very good looking but expensive ornament in my garage - lovely blue and yellow scheme - except the red rear wheel which the previous owner obviously got cheap and ruined the co-ordination with! I believe this started out as a rental bike in Whistler, because of that it was well maintained then and I have done my best with it since getting it two years ago. The only issue that I can mention is with the fork rebound adjuster, before reaching me it snapped off. A service from Marzocchi revealed that they do not carry these parts as spares but they advised that the adjuster inside itself is still fine, it just needs a screwdriver (I find an electric tester type the perfect fit) pushing in there and turning to adjust, a little crude but, if like me you only need to find the sweet spot once then you don't need to adjust it again anyway. These forks had an oil change before the trip I mentioned above and were only ridden for 7 days during this so are still lovely and plush as you would expect from Marzocchi. The brakes have recently been bled and I have put fresh screws on the handlebar clamps as the ones they came with were minced! The rear pads have had a day or so's use and I have a brand new pair for the front as spares that I will throw in as I don't have any other formula brakes. One other modification I need to mention is with the rear dropouts, for some reason Rocky Mountain decided that having these in place to fix the wheel was a good idea - basically, you had to remove the rear derailleur to remove the wheel - check reviews on google - A faff I could not be bothered with, so I have installed a couple of shims off an inner tube valve on either side to space it just enough so that the axle is free to be removed in the case of a flat. I can never see the axle coming loose and it never had for me but if you are worried about this, it is easy enough to fix, just remove the spacers. The full spec is as follows: 2010 Rocky Mountain Flatline Park - Medium Marzocchi 888 forks Fox DHX 3.0 Rear Shock Formula Brakes (Unsure of exact model) - one white, one black but both the same style Raceface Ride Cranks E-Thirteen chain device Nukeproof Pedals Shimano SLX Derailleur and 9 speed cassette Shimano Deore Shifter Chromag OSX Fubar Mavic Front Wheel Spank Spoon Rear Wheel Chunky Monkey Tyres - again only 7 days use Superstar seat If you wish to try before you buy and are in the Rochdale area, message me and it can be arranged, although bear with me, I have a busy schedule :-) I think that is everything, if you have any specific questions please feel free to message me. I will not be posting but can do drop off in the Manchester area for petrol money if required, please message me to check. No trades please, as mentioned above, I already have the bike I want, hence selling this one :-D Regards, Chris

Nukeproof Mega - Medium Yellow

$1000 GBP
After buying myself a new hardtail this year I have found I am only using my beloved Nukeproof for downhilling, hence I have decided to part with it in the hope of obtaining a downhill bike instead. Therefore, ideally I am looking for a straight trade for a reasonable downhill bike (something comparable in spec to what I am parting with) so please let me know if you are interested in making a trade - I will also sell it for £1000 or a similarly good offer as this would then go towards me buying a downhill bike itself. I have included some pics and here is a list of the parts: 2011 Marzocchi 55R - 160mm - Slight gouges in both sides from a fall which I have sealed with black nail polish without any noticeable leaking, even after long days at Antur Stiniog - did this well over a year ago now. Fox Vanilla Shock - Bought last year with slight use (TF Tuned) after I could no longer stand the supplied air shock leaking all the time. Shimano Hone Cranks with Zee 10sp Shifter/Derailleur finishing kit/Superstar 36T thin/thick front chain ring - yet to have it derail when riding rocky trails in the lake district etc with no chain guide - Possibly may need new BB but only currently running the usual £15 shimano one. Shimano Deore brakes - excellent brakes, just over a year old, still very keen - 203mm rotor front, 160mm back. KS Supernatural 150mm dropper seatpost and charge spoon saddle. 2011 Nukeproof Generator Wheels/Hubs - Slightly different colour to frame but not very obvious and rear hub has a bit of play from when I swapped axle sizes but has never caused me any noticeable problems. Maxxis High Roller Tyres - Sticky Compound - Fairly new, replaced last summer with only light use. Cube Fritzz Grips in metallic red - My favorites. Sunline Stem and Funn 750mm - handlebars, both in silver. Nukeproof 1 and 1/8th Reducer Headset. I have currently swapped out the pedals on the bike for a cheaper set to put the Superstars on my Hardtail but if this would be a deal breaker I can put them back on there. As you will see from the pictures the frame has taken a bit of a beating but it is only because it has been well used at places like Antur and Revolution, they have never presented any issues for me. Just to re-emphasize the description of the forks as well, they have matching gouges on each side of stanction's from a bad fall in Gisburn some years ago where I ended up in a stream, but since I have filled them with nail varnish they have not visibly leaked and because I have done regular oil changes in the legs themselves they are as smooth as the day I bought them - lovely and plush! I will not be willing to post but can meet up in the Manchester area or my house, which is in Castleton, near Rochdale - OL11 2TL. If you have any questions then please feel free to message me but otherwise thank you for looking. Kind Regards, Chris
