Here is my vintage Santa Cruz Chameleon, lovingly restored into a modern DJ. I bought this frame new in 2004 and its been sat gathering dust for well over 15 years after a short life as an XC/trail bike. Oddly, back then it came with horizontal dropouts and was marketed as a hardcore hardtail. So makes quite a good dirt jumper. So i stripped it back, cleaned it up, resprayed it with modern Santacruz graphics (they're painted decals not stickers) and rebuilt it as DJ. The frame and fork are original 2004 vintage, every thing else is a hodge podge of more recent parts. The renovation was done in 2022 and the bike has honestly been ridden twice at the dirt jumps. I just never get the time to use it.
