Well used but never crashed. Did unfortunately roll off a pub table that landed on the peak, not enough to crack anything but enough to split the paint. Also the chin strap pads are starting to wear and split (only the vinyl cover on the fabric) Replacement visors and pads can be purchased new online. Very good helmet with removable liner, Mips and space for emergency inflation removal system. Includes bag and larger cheek pads. Given up cycling, saving up to move onto motorbikes. Reluctantly selling my Solid Strike due to I’m getting too old with too many ailments and I want to get into motorbike touring. This bike literally gets used a few times a year for the odd alps trip (blues and reds) and the odd bike park wales (again blues and reds) and it’s never been used to it’s full potential or crashed by me. It’s a great tank of a bike that isn’t heavy for what it is and unlike some people shoehorning larger wheels in old frames, this one was designed to take 26 and 27.5 wheels with the use of a flip chip on the rear shock mount and dropouts. Has adjustable reach (+/-10mm) with a Works components headset and geometry that’s reasonably modern. It also carries a spare mech hanger on the suspension link with a stronger custom made hanger being used on the rear with a 150 x 12mm thru axle. The fork stanchions do have a couple of small marks, honestly nothing that affects the seals or performance and are hardly noticeable by touch. The rear shock has a rub mark on one of the adjusters that was done during transporting but again, doesn’t physically affect it at all. Both units were fully serviced 4 years ago by TF tuned, since then I have serviced the lowers on the forks annually with new wipers and seals and fully rebuilt the rear shock last year. Frame bearings were changed last year and are smooth, everything is still tight with no play. The bike is sound, free of cracks or dents and ready to ride, just normal wear from a bike this age. If I can’t get the money I want for it I will be breaking and selling separately.
