Custom Built Whyte E120

$1650 GBP
Whyte E120, in Very Very Good Condition, Iv built the bike from the ground up and have owned it for only two years. All the components were purchased from new and have been well looked after, i have most of the original receipts and boxes to prove. This bike has had little use over the 2 years, i had more fun building it than i did riding it and has just been stored in my garage for the past 6 months. The bike is incredibly light and fly's up the hills! Really confidence inspiring, the only reason im selling it is because i don't have the time to ride any more. I have got back into my Field Target shooting at that takes up at least 4 days a week including weekends and its becoming expensive as well lol. I will be sad to see it go but i want a new rifle and until this has sold i won't be able to purchase it which is why im after a quick sale. I am open to sensible offers however i don't wish to swap for anything as i need the money. The spec for the bike is as followed; 1) Whyte E-120 19" (Large) Carbon frame in immaculate condition, Whyte frames are as strong as you like and tough as old boots with its unique uni directional carbon structure making them the best around! On top of this the bearings have a lifetime warranty so you can really ride with confidence. 2) RockShox Recon Solo Air 351 Forks, with motion control. I have had these from new and there still absolutely plush, I have modified the the pop lock so it's on a turn key on the fork as I found the pop lock got in my way and cluttered the bars. However owners manual and original pop lock is included. I serviced these forks September last year and they have only had 2-3 ride since. 3) Fox Float RP2 rear shock in perfect working order 4) Easton EC70 XC carbon bars which reduced vibration and offer a fantastic comfort level as there wide, high and nice and light. I also have fitted a nearly new set of lizard skin logo locking grips with Odi blue colour matched clamps. 5) Shimano 10 speed SLX gear system (10X3) with Goodridge Cables and blue Token Alloy Jokey Wheels for even smoother running (I do have original plastic Shimano ones included and they have never been used) The chain rings have Mowa Alloy Nuts keeping them in place to save weight and the looked nice lol the Goodridge cables are also held on using the Mowa Blue Alloy Cable Guides which unlike the plastic ones don't fall of every time you see a stone. And because it had to match the crimps at the end of the cables which stop the cables fraying are also anodized blue. 6) Hope wheel set custom built from Merlin cycles. Stan's ZTR Crest NoTube Rims laced using blue alloy nipples and DT Swiss double butt spokes onto a pair of Hope Pro Evo 2 hubs. Tubeless conversion (Stan's) with Maxxis High Roller Tryres and Mowa Blue Alloy valve caps. Also included is a large bottle of Notubes Sealant which I will vouch for 110% as being the best thing I have ever done with my wheels. They are super light and have virtually no rolling resistance making climbs effortless. 7) Hope Tech M4 Brakes front and back with all the pots, levers, caps and bolts replaces in blue (think the parts cost me over £180 on top of the brakes) I have upgraded the pads to sintered brake pads front and back as well as installing Goodridge braided hoses and blue banjo fixings. To top of this awesome stopping power I have these coupled to Hope's 203mm floating blue rotors fixed to the hubs using Mowa Blue Alloy Torx bolts. These brakes really are over kill and an engineering work of art but every thing about this bike had to be just right. I'm also including all the original black pots, caps levers etc as well as the hope removal tool and bleed kit. 8) Hope Ceramic bottom bracket in blue As you can see I have listed most of it's keep features but trust me to see this bike in the flesh is the clincher! I have really looked after this bike from new and I have a stack of invoices and receipts to show proof of purchase of all the brand new parts etc. Nothing was sourced second hand, and as a bike mechanic rest assured this bike has been maintained to the highest standard. The bike is also fitted with a tracker and comes with mountain of spares, oils, bike care equipment and original box's etc. If you need to know any more info please feel free to ask and viewing is more than welcome, i'm after a quick cash sale and will be very sorry to see this bike go. This may not be the cheapest Whyte on the market but i will assure you that its a true one off and will be the nicest example in the UK. Please note; Whilst pictures do not show a seat post one is included, As are a pair of Shimano or Crank Brothers pedals which ever you use. Cheers for looking guys Steve
