It has been kept pretty much stock with just a couple of minimal (must have) mods. The Oval chainring for starters will help gain that extra leg HP to get the grueling climbs out of the way so that you can get after the DH. The Fox Coil will get the rig DH ready and be supple enough for those rock gardens that you couldn't grease on your xc bike. This bike is no xc racer, but hey nobody ever said you couldn't do it. I think (2016-2017) carbine frame and Geo were same. However, I bought and built in 2017.
