For sale is my Kona Cowan DS, I built the bike from the ground up in november 2012... Since then it has seen little use and the time has come to let it go... The bike was built to a very high standard with no expenses spared, The spec is as follows: 2008 Kona Cowan ds frame size small Fox dhx 5.0 rear shock 2011 fox 36 float R forks lowered to 140mm Hope pro 2 qr front and rear hubs Halo tornado 24" rims Halo spokes Avid elixir R brake set Shimano saint crankset Hope bottom bracket Hope 1 1/8 sealed headset Hope seat clamp Superstar yardstick bars cut to 780mm Superstar razor dh stem DMR v8 pedals Shadow conspiracy v2 half link chain Dmr moto RT tires The seat Federal grips Federal bar ends This is one of the last of the Cowan DS', these bikes are a great all rounder, perfect for dirt jumps and light down hill, and more than capable on skateparks... It has a 32t sprocket on the front to a 13t on the rear with the 24" rims making it an ideal gear for all of the above... The suspension on these frames pivots around the bottom bracket meaning that the chain doesn't change in length therefore allowing you to run a single gear without a rear mech / chain tensioner... It has vertical dropouts with rear hanger so gears can be added And horizontal adjustment... Viewing is welcomed and recommended, with cash on collection... Sunline vone oversized bars and stem, bars are 745mm wide with the sort after 32mm rise that is usually found on the 711mm width bars Stem is 1 1/8 steerer and 15mm The upper bolt has rounded on the stem but lower works fine. Transition trailorpark frame size medium, bought new in April 2011, Selling bike due to not using it anymore, Has all the usual wear and tear from usage but nothing major, no bends/cracks etc. I'll include: an fsa integrated headset which is in good condition and runs very smooth, Genuine transition leather seat, excellent condition with no tears, or marks, (with seat post). For sale are my 24" wheels, the rims are sun single tracks built up on hope pro2 trials rear and hope pro2 front (20mm)... not using the bike and need the money so forcing sale.. For sale are my fox 36 float rc2's, had them for a few years but due to not using the bike they are up for sale, open to sensible offers, sorry no trades as need the money. Forks have an 1" 1/8 steerer which has been cut down to suit an integrated headset... currently set at around 110mm travel but this could be changed with the know how.
