Hi Well I went off to a four day trip in Germany to hit some different parks but we only had the chance to do one park as one of my riding mates got a positive C19 test answer. So all six guys packed our things and drove 6hours home. Talk about an anticlimax. I got 5 runs on the AM9 with 2.4 Hellkat ATC and Nevegal2 EMC on some dry loose rocky/rooty trails. Performed suplime - and had two hard hits on the rear wheel but the EMC casing held up fine. So I didn't even have the chance to mount the Pinner tire on my front wheel before we had to go back home. That buddy owe us BIG time for going on that trip with us without letting us know about his possible positive test result. To be continued...

It's actually only when I travel with my bike (AM9) that I have to concider a enduro/gravity tire choice as ALL of our native trails really dont have the bikepark/Alp style rock'n rooty trails. On the ATC casing I find OK support for my 100kg but the rear could be a wee bit stiffer. So I went with the EMC and find similar grip and roll but a stiffer sidewall that also comes with a bit harsher ride on an avarage trail. On more rough and demanding trails and when railing berms the extra sidewall support is superb. I just tend to go with a lower psi on the mellow stuff. Off to 3 EU bikepark this week so the Nevegal2 EMC will be tested for sure. The Hellkat ATC up front am I not worried about.

Super info thx. I'm on the 2.4 Hellkat on 29mm rims and I really find them spot on. I have the Pinner on 30.5mm rims but I haven't had the chance yet to hit some challenging trails. And in the lack of a sturdy fast but grippy rear tire from Kenda I use their Nevegal2 EMC.

Is it to show the true width of the Kenda tire?
