Round 3 of the UK's Premiere enduro series kicks off in the north of England at Hamsterley Forest. Although a relatively short loop, Hamsterley incorporated a wide variety of trails from trail centre to steep and rooty with plenty of line choices.

Seeding took place on a sunny and dry stage 5 which was predominantly part of Hamsterley's trail centre but ended on a newly built section before dropping off into the finish arena.

The weather took a turn for the worse over night and yet again we woke up to rain, making those rooty sections treacherous. Elite male, Sam Shucksmith, seeded fastest in his category and was riding strong and consistent all day earning him two stage wins and ended in the top five of each stage. Yet again Helen Gaskell took the win for the elite women with an impressive 43 seconds between second place Carrie Poole. Junior rider Elliot Heap impressing the entire field as he took the fastest seeding time of the Saturday as he found time between racing world cup downhill.
