Mondraker Steps Away from the MS Racing Team
@iduckett: thefirst alloy version also looked wild, the new one looks good and almost like old intense frames

Mondraker Steps Away from the MS Racing Team
@iduckett: someone brought up Dak changing team and Bruni stating on a podcast that the intense was so bad, that was one week ago max. so not related to the old one. (the old was alloy too btw)

at this point i d really like to which frame the pros are raving about: so far i ve heard that the intense frame is trash, as is the Mondraker. Commencal break all the time.

I love these new Mazza race to death, not sure they are strong enough for those guys though (probably they use a different casing anyway.)

Spotted: Formula's Air Shock for Enduro Bikes
@marindown: The mezzer is probably the more rational decision but the Nero is very good and very well made. Its obviously doublecrown and very stiff. The big problem ist that you really have to take your time to set it up, its gonna take at least 10 hours in my opinion, which can be very frustrating. But after 1 year i would not trade it for anything on the market - if manitou did a 2.1 kg xvert revival -maybe.

I raced an Ancilotti for years, it was not perfect but the linkage only got some minor scratches. Most of the hit will always be taken by a chainring or guard. Its also said that you get a smoother compression of the shock by a pulled link (which compresses the shock). I dont know if there is much to it but my Ancilotti was much smoother than all other DH bike i tried at that time, given that it only ran on mediocre bushings that was pretty impressive. The weight is also concentrated far down, so not a bad design at all.

Axle path has very little to do with Horst Link to to be honest. Antirise ist usually lower than on other designs though but you can easily design a high pivot horstlink like the new GT. Beeing able to run a fairly high pivot with a reasonable antirise is the main advantage of horstlink bikes these days.

In Hospital he said he had one left to go, it sounded like MSA would have been the last ( but its still possible he meant Snowshoe as the crash happened in qualies)
