The Trans Lakes 2016
It's changed to now only 100 people so half the original number. And the fact they've changed the whole idea of it being a race to now being an adventure event makes me think insurance was the main cost, but when the rules were put up (these weren't published on the facebook page, sneakily added to the site after a few weeks) you have to get yourself insured to enter. This means that the 55k they are making makes no sense to run the event... Very fishy
