Litespeed Unveils Pisgah Titanium Trail Hardtail
When I heard they were coming out with a new bike, I had high hopes. At the 'unveiling party' I was pretty disappointed to find an ugly-duckling cousin to the Pinhoti, which is a svelte, attractive hardtail. Nothing about this frame is attractive. I hoped for something better.
But let's face it, hardtail-haters: with more and more 'trails' being groomed, loamed, smoothed, and carpeted, do 90% of us actually need a full-suspension bike with 1000mm of travel? When we shuttle to the top of the hill in our Tacomas (TRD PRO!) and coast to the bottom, do we even need pedals any more?

Cane Creek EE Wings AllRoad 175mm
$850 USDI bought these to retrofit to an older bike, but unfortunately they didn't work out with my combination. These are the All Road version for 68mm bottom brackets width, 30mm spindle. A few light scratches in the inside of one crank, but otherwise excellent shape-no rock damage or shoe scuffing.
They come with a 110BCD and a 130BCD spiders, or you can use a 3-bolt direct mount chainring. 175mm length is no longer available from Cane Creek. Very beautiful and very light.
