Warranties - Who's Doing Them Right, & What Could Be Improved?
Interesting thing is, that over here the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority has given following statements in dispute cases:
"The warranty is given for the product and remains valid even if the product changes ownership. The warranty cannot be limited to the first owner of the goods, but the guarantor is liable for its commitment throughout the warranty period, regardless of the owner of the goods. However, the intended use of the goods may not change significantly, for example from private to professional use."
