@shredddr: Most definitely not. I have a Marin, and they are affordable, extremely nice spec, and have great quality. 3000$ for top-level RockShox suspension and xt, on a full suspension! Not 4000$ for performance elite on a hardtail

$975 USD2020 Scott Scale 950 Cross Country Aluminum / Alloy mountain bike that has Fox suspension and a Shimano drivetrain. Bike has been used for training and cross country racing the last 2 years by my son and he has grown out of it and moved on to a bigger bike. It has normal wear and tear but is in great condition for the amount of use. Bike has been maintained regularly at a local bike shop by certified bike mechanics.
