Jul 6, 2023Chromag Rootdown
$1400 CADSelling my hardtail. Chromag was ahead of the curve on the geometry for this bike and it is very capable. I happily ride the same trails on this as my full suspension bikes (shore blues and blacks), just picking smoother lines. Really fun on tech trails like Severed D and 7th Secret.
Love the bike but not riding much. I bought the bike used 3 years ago and have upgraded almost everything. The original owner had put quite a few scratches in the paint but there are no dings or dents.
Everything is running perfectly, including a new cassette and chain. Fork had a lower leg service 5 rides ago. Dropper post has seen ~10 rides.
Great bike for a new rider looking for something affordable and cheap to maintain. Also a good option for the hardtail curious that don't want to spend a lot on the experiment.

$200 CAD1 1/8" straight steer tube and 20mm axle.
Been sitting for a few years and could likely use a service. Worked perfectly last time it was used. Not scratches on stantions. Some cable rub on crown from brakes.
Note this is the travel adjust model which can be lowered to 140mm on the fly.
Also for sale a Norco Fluid LT frame that went with the fork. Happy to do a package.
