Mondonico Futura Leggero New

$2000 USD
This is a real Antonio Mondonico built by the master himself. So rare to get a good fit for a classic Italian road bike and smaller rider. The 48cm frame size would work well with a rider approximately 5'3" . The top tube length, 49.5cm would make a comfortable reach as well. The frame material is Columbus El lugged. A very light gauge tubing for comfortable and responsive rides. The Campagnolo and Italian parts are a must for this caliber of handbuilt Italian frames. The Veloce 2x10 shifters are compatible with the Athena rear derailleur and the Veloce compact front derailleur and Veloce compact double 170mm cranks, 50x34 chainrings no toe overlap. The stopping power is Campy Veloce sidepull and the wheels are handbuilt Velocity Areohead V rims with DT butted spokes om Miche Box Racing hubs, 32 spokes. The frames alone that have not been made by Antonio since he retired sell for $2,000 with fork. This is an excellent opportunity to get a legendary bicycle at an affordable luxury cost. Litespeed Tanasi XTR

$1699 USD
Of course most of us could not afford this most tricked out stock mountain bike in 2003 but at this price you can't go wrong. The 2003 Litespeed Tanasi retailed for $5700 when it was released. There was not much that could have been improved for that year of a cross country bike. All Titanium frame, seatpost, stem and seat rails with an Easton carbon handlebar, Rockshox race titanium fork, Mavic Cross Max ceramic wheels and Shimano XTR where could you make improvements? Maybe a Chris King headset? How about disc brakes? With the Mavic Cross Max ceramic wheels and the XTR V brakes the disc brakes would have only added weight to this sub 24lb bike. Besides it was designed to go fast not for DH or Freeride. The 16.5 frame and 55cm top tube with a 30 inch standover would be right for most average sized males 5'8" -5'10". The condition of this bike is very very good. I am not going to say like new but the next best thing. $1699 freshly tuned at our shop, no other work needed unless we ship.

Kona Entorage Demo Closeout

$1950 USD
Closeout on our demo bikes is always looked forward to. The Kona Entourage was this years go to for the local slopes and bike parks. The bikes are in great shape and freshly tuned. Here is some info from Kona. Designed to be quicker, faster and more maneuverable than a standard 200mm DH rig, this bike is all about ramping the rad quotient to the next level. No surprise, then, that it’s Kona Team superstar Graham Agassiz’s bike of choice. It has super-short 415mm chainstays and geometry specifically designed to broaden your gravity horizons. If being airborne and high-speed antics are your thang, make sure to bring your Entourage. We are Alki Bike and Board in Seattle, 2606 California Ave. S.W. Tel. 206 938 3322.
