Video: How To Stop Going Over the Bars When Riding | How Not To Bike With Ben Cathro
Good explanation, but unfortunately it's oversimplified. At all kind of jumps, the speed has the most important role. Since the front wheel will leaves the jump first, in that moment a front pitching momentum takes effect until the rear wheel leaves the jump as well. The rider has to balance out this front pitch with his/her body position, but just the right amount, because the bike has to reach the right angle at the landing slope. In the special case of a very well built drop and the perfectly chosen speed, it can be, that no balancing is needed at all (neutral riding position). 2 another techniques which were not discussed are wheel unloading and rear wheel braking in the air.

He is a serious downhill rider! Never lets the bars and it doesn't matter how, but (maybe) crosses the finish line! That's the style, I like it! :D
