Pinkbike Poll: Riser Bar or Extra Spacers Under the Stem?
@jeremy3220: I’ve had this conversation so many times and a lot of people just can’t accept it to be true. They haven’t thought very hard about it and didn’t do the math.

Intend Announces New Blackline Fork Models
@Robstyle: nice. I never even crashed during my ownership. Always torqued. Carbon paste. Tried it all and eventually they were actually cool about it and refunded me. I can’t help but wonder if the alloy version would have worked better than the carbon I had. Regardless, I’m the kind of person that likes dual crowns on enduro bikes because I prefer the precision. Happy to run a 38 or zeb, but my ohlins dh38 is noticeably more solid.

Intend Announces New Blackline Fork Models
@Robstyle: It is absolutely an issue if you're pretty aggressive and 100 kg. The flex wasn't a deal breaker, but noticeable back to back with anything else. However, the twisting tubes from smashing a turn or landing sideways was. I think it works for most people, but for those that have a problem, it's a big one.

First Ride: Forbidden Dreadnought V2 - More Travel & Longer Chainstays
@ocnlogan: while it’s true that it’s harder to do a bit of a front wheel lift with a long chain stay Bike, actually doing a long manual down a fire road or on the trails is pretty easy still. It takes a little bit more work to get it going but then the sweet spot from the long chainstay lets you hang out there. I found that my titan and my high pivot Norco range were actually some of the best manual bikes I’ve ever had but they do take extra work to do it. Same with the geometron.

Review: Lewis LHT Ultimate Brakes - Clones or Contenders?
@onawalk: that’s exactly how I read it. Can’t quite just say they are sweet can he? It would be a pretty big shake up to just write that they’re solid competition

Trailforks Trail of the Month: Old Ghost Road, NZ
I rode this two months ago and loved it. Highly recommend. Did one day with less luggage and I preferred it to similar overnight rides

Review: DT Swiss FR 1500 Wheelset
@IsaacWislon82: this is exactly what I’ve done for about four years. The front alloy is totally cool. The rear weareone just works. Spokes stay tight. Less to worry with. It’s the way to go
