Transition Scout, Full coil, fully serviced

$1400 GBP
Hi, This my Scout which I built from scratch about 3 years ago. I hate the term dream build because I believe in function over looks but I wanted a bike which would ride UK trails and cope with bike park and even alpine trips from time to time so I specced everything with that in mind. The Scout is already a capable bike with a confidence that suggests more travel but with the full coil conversion it will cope with a lot, to call up another over used cliche the travel does feel bottomless, or at least more than the 140mm front and 125mm rear. The rear shock is a Cane Creek DB inline with climb switch. this is perfect for this frame and can be set up to all but remove pedal bob, give excellent off the top small bump compliance and ramp up to full travel. Fork is a Pike which started out as an RCT3 but now has a TF coil conversion and a FAST damper cartridge giving high and low speed compression damping. This. like the front allows a very sensitive top stroke, ideal for trail riding but ramps up perfectly to full travel. Renthal bars, Hope Tech 3 brakes, Hope discs, XT crankset, Sram XX1 derailleur and shifter on a match maker, KS lev seatpost. Wheels are Syntace wheels with 35mm internal width (these were £600 new and have seen little use because I also ran another set of wheels) There are the usual scratches and scuffs and one small dent on the underside of the downtube from a rock strike, it hasn't affected the bike and I have pictured it. To build this bike from new would cost a fortune but it's a few years old now so get an amazing bike and a fraction of the cost. I am an engineer and won't ride a bike if it's not in perfect working condition so I have just spent £250 having fork and shock serviced and not ridden since. I have bled the brakes through and everything else is working fine. It is currently set up for 12.5 to 13st and I have a lighter spring set for forks and shock will drop it to about 12st depending on your set up preferences. It is probably due a chain at some point but it is shifting fine at the moment. I'd rather not send because costs with insurance are crazy and i'd rather you were happy with it before handing over your hard earned. I am based in Sandhurst in Berkshire and regularly travel to Poole in Dorset. I would also be happy to meet within 1 hour of where I live if you're serious. I also live 5 minutes from Swinley trail centre so can arrange a test ride, if you're serious. Price is very reasonable based on the build and what else is out there, no silly offers please because I will just keep it. I am only selling because I don't have time to ride locally so I'm keeping my long travel bike for bike park and Alps riding. Please note, saddle and pedals are not included. Cheers Andy

Trek Remedy 9 27.5

$950 GBP
Hi. Selling my son's Remedy for him because he's off to Whistler for 12 months. 2016 Remedy 9 size 20.5 Actual, 21.5 virtual. This has been well used but always maintained. It had a new rear mech, cassette and chain not so long ago. Just had the brakes bled and both wheels trued and re-tensioned for this sale. Standard spec except for Nukeproof stem, Renthal carbon bars and Cane Creek double barrel inline air shock. This shock transforms the bike and is way better than the standard Fox shock. We have the original shock which was kept as a spair so will include it with the sale. Note, the Cane Creek is fitted with offset bushes so it maintains the correct, standard geometry. Bottle cage and pedals not included in sale. Any question just ask, we're in Sandhurst, Berkshire just near Swinley Forest. This is up for a good price because my son needs to sell it so he can use the money in Whistler but please don't make silly offers, this is a very reasonable price.

Cane Creek Double Barrel air, climb switch 216 x 63

$140 GBP
Hi, CCDB air with climb switch. 216 x 63mm This was on my Orange Alpine but I changed to a coil shock and just kept this as a spare so it's had little use, hence in excellent condition. Tiny bit of cable rub on the air can but it is in great condition. I've now sold the frame so no use for this. No trades unless you have a coil shock in 190 x 50

$175 GBP
Perfect working condition, taken of my Alpine 160 when I sold the frame. Adjusters are all in excellent condition Fitted with a 450lb spring and will include a 500lb spring as well Only used on my second bike so it's done a couple of alps trips and the odd bike park but spent much of its life sat in the garage unused. No trades unless you have a Cane Creek coil shock in 190 x 50
