Chromag Rootdown 2019 in Medium. Built new at the end of 2019 by local bike shop. Picked up in last week of August 2020 with only 20hrs on it. Put on around 40hrs gentle riding since then, mostly on pavement, during end of summer. So, frame and all components are still very new. Rides perfectly. Recent tune-up at end of December, including bottom bracket service, hub service, gears adjusted, and new XTR chain upgrade. Only wear is a couple very minor cosmetic scratches, that are hard to notice. Since first noticing them, I covered the frame with clear protective tape. Also taped the ends of the grips to protect the rubber. Tape is removable if you don’t want it. A very capable bike indeed, beautifully made and in excellent condition. Take offs from a Salsa Marrakesh. Never actually ridden. Perfectly true and smooth running. Would be a great complement to a gravel, touring, roads plus, commuter or hybrid bike. 700c wheels with Shimano 475 36h disc hubs, Salsa rims, Panacer Paselas 35mm tires and tubes. Hand built by bike shop mechanic with brand new spokes. $230 takes both wheels and Panacer Pasela tires 700cx35mm and tubes included! They are standard hub spacing, will fit most bike frames. Compatible with quick release skewers (not included). 6-bolt rotors attachment Freehub body is the standard Shimano compatible with cassettes starting at 8, 9 and 10 speed. Possibly compatible with 11 speed too and some 12 speed (e.g. Sram NX) too, but I'm not 100% sure yet.
