Trek Remedy 8 18.5 with DT Swiss wheels

$1750 USD
This was my demo bike last season and it is time to pass the torch. I work for a Trek dealer so the bike has been professionally maintained. There are normal scuffs as documented that you would expect on a bike that has ridden some of the best venues in Mountain biking. Whistler, Moab, Bend it has been there and done that. Now it’s your turn. For versatility, the Remedy has no peer. Trek’s patented Mino Link allows you to switch from an all-mountain geometry to trail geometry in the field in just a few minutes. Air tuned Fox DRCV suspension front and rear with CTD (Climb, Trail, Descend) makes it a snap to select the right suspension performance and keep those wheels churning up the ground. I replaced the stock wheels and tires with a DT Swiss D1800 wheel set and 2.4 Continental Trail Kings with Black Chili compound set up tubeless using the factory DT Swiss conversion kit and Stan’s sealant. These tires are ideal for the variable Northwest trail conditions and can be run at extremely low pressure. I had the rear at 18 PSI and the front at 16 riding Tiger in the snow. The rear hub was upgraded with a 36 tooth Star Ratchet assembly giving the drive train very rapid engagement. You’ll appreciate the immediate power when you are clearing obstacles. The brake rotors were upgraded to Shimano XT Ice Tech. I’m including the Crank Brothers Candy 3 pedals so the bike is ready to ride. Get on, pull the trigger and hang on Here are the factory specs: Frame: 18.5" Alpha Platinum w/ABP Convert, Full Floater, E2 tapered head tube, internal front derailleur cable routing, Stealth dropper post routing, ISCG 03 mount, magnesium EVO Link, Mino Link, 150mm travel Front suspension: Fox Evolution Series 32 Float w/DRCV, CTD (climb-trail-descend) damper, rebound, E2 tapered steerer, 15mm QR thru axle, 150mm travel, tuned by Trek in California Rear suspension: Fox Evolution Series Float w/DRCV, CTD (climb-trail-descend). Rear hub is 142x12 with Rockshox Maxle. Shifters: Shimano SLX, 10 speed Front derailleur: Shimano SLX Rear derailleur: Shimano Deore XT Shadow Plus Crank: Shimano SLX, 42/32/24 Bottom bracket: BB95 Trek integrated Shimano BB kit Cassette: Shimano HG62 11-36, 10 speed Saddle: Bontrager Evoke 2, chromoly rails Seatpost: Bontrager Rhythm Elite, 31.6mm, zero offset Handlebar: Bontrager Race Lite Low Riser, 31.8mm, 15mm rise, 9 degree sweep Stem: Bontrager Rhythm Comp, 31.8mm, 7 degree Headset: FSA NO.57E, E2, sealed bearings Brakeset: Shimano SLX hydraulic disc with XT Ice Tech rotor upgrade The bike will be professionally packed for shipping free of charge if sold for asking price. If not, there will be a $75.00 packing fee. Local pickup can be arranged if you are in WA. I will ship to the Lower 48 states only. Shipping charges will be calculated by destination.
