sorry, also meant to ask: does K2 still provide service for these? I'm really interested in the frame (i used to ride a 453), just want to make sure there's someone out there to help out with any problems that might arise.

as one who rides them (in red, anyway), i can only say one thing and ask another: (a) the only way to punish your shins with these is to kick them when you're off the bike (which, admittedly, i've totally done with ill effect), because they connect pretty much like spds, and (b) genuinely asking: why sell them?
