This bike was purchased in February 2022 and delivered in May 2022 for my partner. Before it was ever ridden, it was professionally wrapped in Invisiframe, including the fork, and the tyres were upgraded to Maxxis Ikon 2.2 for fast rolling. Unfortunately, she quickly realized off-road cycling wasn’t for her, and since then, the bike has been stored indoors in our box room. I’ve taken it out for the occasional short spin, but at 6ft2, it’s far too small for me to keep. At one point, I borrowed the stem and handlebars for a trip on my own Canyon, which has left light marks from the aerobars. Essentially, it’s a light trail lid with a chin guard for those that want a bit more protection on the trails and more technical stuff, rather than a lightweight downhiller. The inmolded shell has 23 vents, uses the same Met Safe-T retention system found on their top end helmets and also comes with washable inner pads. It’s a bit weird getting into but sits fine once it's on your head. The chin guard is removable for those times when you don’t feel it necessary, so you can still use it as a regular trail lid.
