Yoann Barelli's Commencal Meta AM V4.2 - Finale Ligure EWS 2017
@chillrider199: also another way to look at it is when riding down steep terrain with flat brakes your wrists will be straight in a locked position as opposed to your wrist being bent when reaching for low brakes. With a bent wrist it is easier to roll your wrist more and lose grip. The heel of your palms are no longer helping, now your only holding on for dear life with your fingers and thumb.

Mike Hopkins' Skidsville - Photo And Video Epic
One of my first memories was back in 73, living in Japan. Riding an adult road bike where my feet couldn't touch the ground. Doing my Napoleon Dynamite.

Fastest Woman in the World - Interbike 2017
I know! Why did they let Aaron Gwin win that contest when his chiain broke and he didn't pedal. Such nonsense. (Sarcasm for all you knuckleheads)

Finished: Ask Me Anything - Reuben Krabbe, Photographer
I ride alone 99% of the time and I want to show my friends what they are missing out on. Other than my phone, what is a decent portable camera I could carry in my hydration pack or small backpack that you would recommend.

It's Alive: Santa Cruz Reveals the V10 29er
@jclnv: those 60kg Motor GP riders can lean those 150kg bikes because of a little thing called an engine. If you put those GP bikes with no engine on a hill with the same grade as a DH mtb do you think they would be able to lean the same? I think not. But I'm no physicist I could be wrong.

Tasmania Track Preview, EWS Round 2 - Video
The Crack is just under 1 meter wide, with 800mm bars that's 100 left per side. ( just under 4 inches per side). Good luck with that at speeds. These trails look awesome.

Counterpoint: Do We Really Need E-Bikes?
So are people who only ride DH with chairlifts lazy? I'm not hating I actually love the pain of an uphill climb (yes, I'm weird) but wouldn't chairlift only be considered just as bad as riding an ebike? Let the hate begin...

I don't know what it is but this video music combo has a very soothing effect. I just felt so relaxed and had a smile on my face the whole time. Makes me want to ride.

Pinkbike Poll - How Many Days Did You Ride in 2016?
I live in California so there isn't really any harsh weather here. I work over 50 hours a week. During winter when the days are short, still dark before I work and dark when I'm off work, I'll ride during my lunch. I look forward to rainy days so I can play in the mud. It's been a drought here so rain is a bonus for me. I ride a minimum of 3 days a week, as much as 6 days in the summer, sometimes twice a day.
