TransRockies Race Series Announces New Mexico Singletrack Stage Race
I'd still vouch for Galisteo though. On an xc bike it's pretty fun, reasonably technical. The trails flow well while still being cognitively engaging. They reward good line choice and confident cornering, and rarely if ever force you to shut it down.

On the website under THE COURSE -> Stage 2, they explain in a surprising amount of detail (at least by the low standards of race organizing transparency) plans to do this in the future and why they are sticking with Galisteo this year.
