Bird Aether 9 2021, Size Medium Long Bird Aether 9 full Suspension MTB bought from Bird in October 2021. Proof of purchase available along with transferable lifetime frame warranty. The bike is in excellent condition and has only done around 250 miles in total. There are a few scratches on the frame and one on the rear mech which are shown in the photos, but these are cosmetic only. Selling as I’m buying a lighter bike for XC racing. Built this up with the intention of using it as a winter bike but have ended up using it very little so am looking to sell. Frame was bought new from Ribble Cycles last year (2013) as a cosmetic second due to slight defect around one of the bottle cage bosses- see photos. Most of the components were transferred from a previous frame and are of various ages/condition, a few things are pretty much brand new- see below for details. Looking for £525 ono including postage to UK. Frame: Ribble Sportive 7046 52cm (equivalent to 54cm in most brands- see link below for geometry): http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/assets/images/Sportive_Geometry.jpg Frame is almost brand new (fewer than 500 miles) and is in excellent condition apart from the manufacturer fault/defect around the bottle cage boss shown in the photos below. Comes with matching Ribble 7046 Sportive carbon forks and integrated ITM headset. Wheels: Shimano RS10 (silver). Approx 2000 miles use, rims slightly worn/concave but hubs still running smooth. Tyres: Continental Gatorskin 25mm. Perfect condition, used for about 100 miles. Rear mech: Shimano 105 10 speed 5701 short cage (2013). Approx 500 miles use, perfect condition apart from a few scuffs/scratches. Front mech: Shimano Ultegra 6600 (2013). Approx 500 miles use, perfect condition apart from a few scuffs/scratches. Cassette: Shimano Ultegra 10 speed 11-25T. Approx 500 miles use, very good condition and still running smooth. Chainset & bottom bracket: Shimano Tiagra 4650 compact chainset with 170mm cranks and 34-50T chainrings, complete with bottom bracket. Nearly new (approx 100 miles), perfect condition apart from a couple of minor scuffs. Brake calipers: Shimano Ultegra BR-R650. Purchased 2013, used for approx 1000 miles. Very good condition. Shifters: Shimano 105 5600, purchased approx 2007/08 but still working perfectly. Scuffed/scratched levers but damage is cosmetic only. Bars/seatpost etc: Felt alloy 6061 bars (44cm width, a few scratches), Deda Zero 1 stem (90mm, 6 deg rise, nearly new), Truvativ Husscfelt seat post (31.6mm diameter, 350mm length, good condition), Giant saddle (brand new).
