Feb 21, 2010Dmr Rhythm 04
$250 GBPright, here we have a dmr rhythm. ill upload pictures if people want me to. lets cut a long story short. my plan was to raw the frame down and i started doing so with paint stripper but just seemed like so much effort. so i washed the frame down blah di blah and thought about painting it. i sprayed on white primer (about 4 coats) for the first layer but for some reason i obviously didnt get rid of ALL the stripper and its had a reaction so will need sanding down smooth and a few more coats of primer then BAM you can paint what ever colour you want. the bike has given me a fair bit of greif so im just giving up with it...
at the moment it has a dmr 34t sproket with dmr crisis cranks.
all new bearings where ever they were needed
new sealed headset
dmr dv's 24"
atomlab bars.
marazocchi bombers ( the old style ones)
oddysey stem
primo grips
dmr v8's
Dmr seat and post.
ive just spend a fair bit of money on it to be honest and cannot be assed with doing anything else. i have a spare half link chain with it and also a 28t sproket in bronze. the make is dk. but tbh it is one of the lightest chain rings ive ever used.
the primer does make it look like a shit heap but to be fair you shouldnt judge a book by its cover aye. and yes it has the usual were and tear on the bars and cranks etc.
maybe swap with a bmx
