This is the V1 Ibis Ripmo Carbon — 145mm rear / 160mm front. The V1 has a 65.9° head angle vs. 64.9° on the V2 — only a 1° difference. The newer generations have continued the trend toward more gravity-focused geometry, but the changes are relatively small. (Ibis Cycles) It’s a little quicker, more playful and easier to throw around, while still having plenty of stability and travel for the descents. With all the climbing, tight technical sections and fast rocky trails around here, it’s a great do-everything setup rather than a gravity-focused bike.
