Apr 10, 2021Specialized Stumpjumper Coil - Large
$4000 CAD2018 Stumpjumper Coil 29er. Purple.
This bike had about six months in New Zealand before I shifted it to Vancouver where it's been used 6-8 times since. Selling because I have not been able to visit Vancouver due to COVID. This model was a limited run version of the 2018 Stumpjumper that has a super plush Ohlins coil fork and rear shock (details below). Even though it's a size "L" it would probably better suit someone in the market for what we call a medium now as the reach is only 431mm. Was wrapped in frame tape (now removed) but does have some scuffs in non-taped places (see photos).
Prior to Vancouver the bike was serviced by Burkes Cycles New Zealand and the suspension by Specialized NZ. Most recently fork serviced and upgraded by Dunbar Cycles in Vancouver.
Carbon rims (Roval Traverse Carbon 29 rims, 30mm inner width) that have been protected with Huck Norris front and rear. Rear wheel has some minor sticker damage (scratches in the sticker only, not the carbon).
Rear shock: Ohlins TTX22M, coil spring, 197mm x 48mm - and a "-16" (in Ohlin's terms) spring which translates to 365 lbs/inch. I weight 175-190 pounds depending on the season :-).
Ohlins RXF 36, 29/6Fattie, coil spring, adjustable high and low speed compression, adjustable rebound, 110x15mm thru-axle, 51mm offset. Fork internals now the newer TTX18 Cartridge.

Upgrades from the stock bike: DT Swiss 350 rear hub and a Renthal 31mm stem; New Guide RS brake levers. Fork has the newer TTX18 Cartridge.

The thing about the drop is the gap isnt much wider than a set of bars and the awkward roll in,
