Review: Yakima's $849 StageTwo Hitch Rack
Last year on my way to the trailhead, I made a last minute stop at a Starbucks and forgot about the bike going under the clearance bar... my bike caught it and ripped clean off my car, crossbars and Yakima rack included. my bike had somehow made it out with only a scratch on my brake lever and handle bar while my rack's tray was bent nearly 90 degrees. I'm glad the weakest link was the rack and not my bike. I with that said, I probably wouldn't buy a Yakima rack again and I'm never putting my bike on top of my car again--mostly because I can't trust myself. OneUp will probably be my next choice. that or a truck.

Cool bikes, but why aren’t you reviewing a 2015 Big Kona Honzo? I used to own one and still need to justify the phase in my life where I thought 27.5 plus tires were the be-all-end-all.

Opinion: Hello, Can I Get An Extra-Medium Frame Please?
At 5’9.5 (177cm) Bike fit is the leading consideration I have when looking for a new bike. Some bikes are super interesting to be but offer too much compromises in either direction of sizing so I’m somewhat deterred. The transition spur is a good example of that. Medium seems too short, large might be too long, etc. steeper STAs seem to help the “inbetweeners” more often that want a bit of a longer reach without feeling too stretched on the climbs. People can adapt either way but it’s no fun to spend $3k and possibly wait months for a frame that might not fit the way you need it.

@SATN-XC: the first try time you install Cush Core you will realize how exactly how much more the tire beam stays interfaced with the rim. It’s not impossible, but madness to install.
