Cosmetically the paint still shines nicely with fine scratches showing where the cables run along the downtube. No signs of oxidation on the aluminum, tires are new, bike always stored inside. For sale is a 2006 specialized stumpjumper comp FSR full suspension mountain bike. This bike has been a tank and has never let me down through all my mountain bike adventures. Lets get into the details. The frame is an aluminum monocoque design with 4-link fsr rear suspension which is stiff allowing the fox shocks to work their magic on the trail. The frame has no dents, cracks, and is in excellent condition. Aside from the light scratches from use it is perfect. The bushings in the suspension move freely and silently. The brakes have been upgraded from the avid juicy's to brand new shimano deore XT 4 piston enduro hydraulic disk brakes(M1820), which allow this bike to stop on a dime and slow down with ease on steep descents. You will never have a problem stopping this bike. These brakes have been professionally installed and bled and I have taken them on several rides with zero issues. The ice tech rotors glide smoothly and silently allowing for controlled and powerful braking power. 180mm front, 160mm rear. The Fox F80 fork feels plush for a 80mm fork and handles big hits nicely, such as diving into canyons and going around berms. The fork has been professionally serviced last year and is still running in tip top condition. The same goes for the fox triad rear shock, which can be tuned for plush downhill suppleness or cranked up to a almost hardtail feeling lockout with a flick of the propedal lever. The rear shock has also been professionally serviced and is working like new. This bike shifts quick and precise too with sram x-7 trigger shifters in the cockpit and a sram x-9 rear derailleur. This bike is a 3x9 setup and sports a slick shimano deor lx front derailleur, which shifts nicely as well. I've never had a chain come off while riding this bike. The teeth on the cogs show some wear but are still in excellent condition. Upgraded lighter DT Swiss wheels are wrapped with brand new WTB Velociraptor front and rear tires, meaning this bike is glued to the trail. I've never had a flat with these tires and I've never slid out on the trail. Velociraptor tires are awesome and allow you to climb trails so steep you wouldn't believe. Plus these are brand new and have only been on about five rides. This bike is a get on and go bike that doesn't need a single thing, it has served me well and will certainly serve you to for years to come.
