I acquired this frame from the Quality Bicycle Products distributor in New Zealand. It has sat since 2005 in its original packaging. I have built it up with what I consider a tasteful mix of vintage and new componentry. I'm very happy with how it turned out, and believe that the price tag is fair for what is being offered.

Peacock Groove Steel All Road Bike

This bike has been amazing, but my fit has changed significantly since I commissioned this and it's time to let it go to a new owner. It's built to the hilt. Components are in wonderful condition as they were upgraded recently, frame is in very good condition, but it was ridden so it's not perfect. It will serve the new owner for years to come however. The finish is a work of art with intricate masking and polished stainless accents.

Details Announced for Rough Stuff Rally Mountain Bike Festival August 2-3rd 2024 - Copper Harbor, Michigan
The hardtail recommendation was for Saturday's big ride, I should have clarified.
Last year I rode my 5010 on the shuttle day and my hardtail on the 43 mile course. My buddy rode both days on his 160mm Starling. We both had a blast both days.

I’ve got less than 300 miles on it as I ride my hardtail locally. In excellent shape with a few scratches on the head tube from being on the shuttle or bike rack. A few scratches on the handlebar from a buddies brake lever while on a car rack.
Tires, grips, and titanium saddle are stock and new. I took them off when I assembled the bike and put them back on for sale. Chainring only has two rides on it as I swapped it out for an oval one.
