I am secretly the wealthiest man in the world. I choose to keep this a secret by driving old cars.

NEW Whiskey carbon bars

$65 USD
Carbon, 760mm / 31.8, backsweep 9, upsweep 5, matte finish. Super clean and tight. I bought these for a new bike build, then scored a different stem that was 35mm. Never used, and in the original box. You pay shipping, I live in Salida, CO., though I do get to the front range often.

Red Industry Nine 31.8 stem/50mm, half price, never used. You pay shipping. I'm in Salida, CO. Yeti 5 LR custom

$2400 USD
Selling my MEDIUM Yeti 5 custom Lunchride! $2350 (similar modern parts kit $10,000). The owners of Yeti look after me, so I am passing on the good juju upon their recommendation. Why do so many people admit "damn it, those Yetis are inexplicably comfortable at speed." ...and let's be clear, YETI's are expensive, but the near-religious zealotry around this brand predates their high cost of entry....But enough of that. Do you want a very fast and light enduro bike? Do you lay in bed at night wondering why the bike industry is selling us longer, heavier bikes with giant wheels that simply don't turn well, when you want a smaller, lighter bike? There's a reason Yeti, Pivot, Transition, Specialized Trek, and other high-end manufacturers sell high-end 27.5 bikes to expert riders. In the Red Bull Rampage, they do not use 29ers...why is is? It's about control. Okay, off my pulpit...My YETI (your Yeti?) has a NEW 2023 FOX Transfer dropper post (used once), good Maxxis DHF tires, 2021 Eagle XO rear derailleur, 6 inch rotors, Wolf Tooth oval chainring (32T), Eagle X0 cranks recently serviced, DT Swiss wheels (350/ XM 421), a new chain, fresh brake pads/recent bleed/tune. It has had minimal rides in the last couple years as I have suffered some injuries (I'm selling it, in part, to pay for some imminent surgeries, but please do not comment about this. It's NBD, just may be off the bike for a while). This bike has been a dry Colorado bike, rarely in ANY wet conditions and I weigh 154lbs. It has always been cleaned and professionally maintained. There are no scratches on the stansions, or (frame) shock and it travels inside a van, not on a rack. Forks were serviced in 2023, and Factory Evol rides like new. Suspension has had no leaks of any kind. SRAM Brakes have always worked great (I was one of the lucky ones with the Guides apparently!?). There is basic cosmetic damage, but no carbon damage and it has never taken big hits (I'm 55 and this bike stays close to the ground). The wheels are straight and it's ready to rip. I'll probably keep the pedals and cage, but we can talk. (I have the original receipt). This was a custom build for me at YETI HQ. It's a one-of-a-kind (TurQ-carbon) Lunchride. It's very fast 27.5 ripper for people who want precision handling. It's a Ferrari. And, here's the weird thing; It's got fully modern technology...check the specs on the 2024 Yeti 135 (this bike's replacement) ...the geometry has barely changed. The reason the bike industry is selling people bikes that feel like a pair of Rossignol 220cm race skis is because of "roll over." Big wheels roll more smoothly making things easier, but that translates to being less nimble. This is not subjective, it's the challenge for bike manufacturers. What is that balance? It's personal choice.

Yeti 575

$599 USD
This is a first generation 575. It came right off the boat to Colorado, and is one of the earliest 575's (literally). Very few, if any, were in stores when I got this in Golden. At some point I replaced the rear end with a carbon version. The Hayes 9 hydraulic is still solid in front (unbelievably), but I have since replaced the rear brake with an Avid BB7. The bike is well used, but has always been well cared for. It needs suspension overhaul, but otherwise ready to rip. A Yeti dealer told me to ask $800, another shop said 700-900. Thompson seat post, Salsa stem, XT front and back, Mavic wheels (819 front, and a new 521 in back). (those blue Race Face bars do not come with bike, they will be replaced by Sunline 745)
