New KWBiking.com Site Launched!

by Brock Reinhart
For six years now KWBiking.com has catered to many of Southern Ontario's riders, particularly those around the Kitchener/Waterloo region. In past years the site was just a community website, designed to get riders together to get to know one another and maybe find a new friend.

Today, the site has exploded into 360+ members in the Kitchener/Waterloo region. It has changed from a site that was an outlet to find a friend or two into a full-fledged business. From what it used to be, KWBiking.com has exploded.

It now offers fully-functional forums, gallery and buy/sell sections as well as swag to purchase for riders to show off their KWBiking.com pride.

We're most excited right now about two of our newest additions to the website.

1. KDub Supersessions

Two years ago we started holding ride days, where we'd set up a scheduled place at a scheduled time for members to meet. As each ride passed, more and more riders would show up. We've had up to 30 riders sessioning at one of our ride days. They've gotten much bigger, so lately we've had to up the anty a little bit and introduce these KDub Supersessions.

These are not our little group rides, during these sessions we'll be offering a free barbeque to members, music will be pumping and prizes will be awarded during the mini competitions held at each supersession.

2. KWBiking.com ID Cards

By far our newest addition to the website, we've created the ability to acquire an ID Card so long as you're a member with more than 200 posts on our forums, and willing to pay just $5 bucks. What does this get you? It gets you discounts on various items at bike shops around the Kitchener/Waterloo region, as well as the free barbeque mentioned earlier.

So come and check us out if you live around the Kitchener/Waterloo region, or come on out to one of our ride days.

We're working on a bunch of new and exciting stuff for this season!
