$1 USDJOB TITLE: Assistant Trail Builder - Trail Crew Member
ABOUT THE COMPANY: Linear Active LLC is based in Zanesville and is Ohio's premier trail contractor. Our
areas of expertise are non-paved and natural surface recreational trails, related facilities, and traditional
stone masonry. We plan, design and build the full gamut of hiking, cycling, equestrian, and motorized-use

ranging from federal agencies to state and local organizations, as well as private landowners. In 2015
Linear Active was the first business in Ohio to be granted membership to the Professional Trail Builders
Association.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Linear Active's trail crew is responsible for trail construction and maintenance on
contracted projects in Ohio and surrounding states. Our crew builds hiking, mountain biking, universally
accessible, equestrian, and motorized-use trails, along with trail features and related amenities such as
overlooks, parking lots, trail bridges, kiosks, etc. Crew members start on hand labor and with time and
experience may be trained on machine operation.
This position is long term and full time at 30-50 hours a week. In the off season we work a shorter
schedule, often doing maintenance and repair work on vehicles and equipment or clean up and fabrication
work in the shop.

This bike retailed for $4300 in 2009. I got it on clearance in 2010 for $3300 and rode it for one season before I bought another hardtail for xc racing and this became the backup bike/dust collector in the garage. Everything is stock except the tires (maxis ignitor and forte pisgah) which I just set up with stans tubeless . The original rear shock was "loaned"to someone, so I just purchased and installed a new Fox RP2 with boost valve. There's a couple scratches and character marks, but no dents, cracks, or structural problems. The stanchions are clean and smooth. Had a couple spokes replaced after getting a stick in the back wheel, so if you see a couple silver spokes in the picture that's what it is. No pedals. Over all this bike is in great shape and I feel guilty for holding onto it for so long without riding it. If you want to get a better look at anything just ask and I'll take/send more photos.
I would be interested in trading for a used DH fork and some cash.
