Guru Praemio titanium bike with travel S&S couplers

$3250 CAD
Custom made Guru Praemio titanium road / travel / cyclocross bike with titanium S&S couplers to disassemble the frame for travel within and airline-legal case. I am the original owner of this bike from Guru. Serial #65334. Has only been used for one summer of occasional local rides, plus one 10-day trip to Belize. Almost no mileage on this 10 spd Shimano Ultegra drivetrain. Very clean bike with minimal wear, other than minor scuffs from travelling with it in the small case. Never crashed or damaged. The quality and workmanship of this frame, the welds, etc is outstanding. I have the original frame design / measurements drawings from Guru. Frame was custom designed to have a more relaxed geometry, with a shorter top tube and taller head tube, and to accept up to 35mm cyclocross tires, for travel to countries with less than ideal roads. See geometry below. Shimano Ultegra 9/10 spd drivetrain with very little mileage or wear. Mavic Ksyrium Elite 700c wheelset - straight and true, minimal use. Very tough, yet smooth riding Schwalbe Marathon tires, 700c x 28mm. Cantilever brakes - Avid Shorty 6. Thompsen Elite aluminum seat post, zero offset. Fizik Pave saddle. SRAM PG1050 10-spd 28-12 tooth cassette with almost no wear. Easton EC90X carbon cyclocross fork. Ritchey Pro handlebars and Ritchey Pro stem. Campagnolo Chorus 1-1/8 in headset. Although the titanium S&S couplers to take apart the frame are a very expensive ( $1,500 - $1,800 typically) option, allowing travel in an airline-legal case, the bike rides and feels like any other high-end titanium bike. It's a fantastic handling bike and worth the smooth ride, even if you never plan to travel with it. Cables have quick-connectors installed to separate cables for packing in travel case as well. The travel case is available at additional cost (I also use it for a Litespeed road bike that I had retrofitted with Ti couplers). Geometry: top tube (center to center) 53.5 cm, seat tube (center to top) 56 cm, head tube 15.0 cm, seat tube angle 76 degrees, chainstay length 430mm center to center (424 mm horizontal). Rare, large diameter 3 Al/2.5 V Titanium tubing - 35 mm diameter top tube and seat tube, 38 mm down tube, with corresponding sizes of Titanium S&S couplers. Fork height 395 mm, fork rake 45 mm. A custom titanium bike of this quality, with similar components, and additional titanium travel couplers would typically cost in the range of $8,500 - $10,000 new. Check out the pricing of T-lab titanium bikes in Canada, of one of the former founders of Guru bikes.....Ti couplers are $1,800 option, custom geometry $600, Mavic Ksyrium wheel upgrade $600, on an Ultegra bike that starts at $4900. My loss is your gain. Many more photos available. Thanks for your interest.

Shimano Dura Ace Wheelset - C50 front C75 rear Tubular

$1395 CAD
Shimano Dura Ace WH9000 Carbon Tubular Road Bike 11s Wheelset. Both wheels 700c. Front is C50 Tubular. Rear is C75 Tubular, with 11 speed shimano freehub (compatible with 9-10-11 speed cassettes). Light weight, top quality, full aero race wheelset, which are also tough enough for everyday riding. These 2014 wheels were used for one race - the 2015 Ironman World Championships (pictures available) and a few training rides. In storage in Kona since last Fall and just brought them back to Canada in April. Very low mileage wheelset. Price INCLUDES mounted premium tubular tires (over $100 value each). Front is Continental Competition 25mm tubular. Rear is Continental Competition 22mm. Both in great shape. There is a bit of tubular glue on the rims and front hub, but excellent cosmetic condition other than that, and mechanically pristine. Price also INCLUDES both Dura Ace skewers. Price does NOT include Shimano Dura Ace 11-speed 11-28 cassette, but can be purchased with the wheels for $125 (new MRSP at least $349 CAD), or $150 without the wheels. Price does NOT include Shimano wheel bags, but can be purchased with the wheelset for $40 CAD for both. These wheel bags are $29 + tax each at La Bicicletta. Jenson USA bike shop - new price on sale $2,599 (USD) and MRSP of $3,199 (USD) for a pair of C75's, even without tires. La Bicicletta in Toronto - new price for a pair of C50 tubulars is $4215 CAD (click dropdown menu for tubular, which are $770 more than clincher), and C75 tubular pair is $3,799. These prices are not a typo.......they are insanely expensive new! Then add the price of new Conti tubular tires. Then add on tax! MY PRICE IS FAR LESS THAN HALF OF NEW, with NO TAX, and a pair of high end Continental tubular TIRES INCLUDED! Please reply via Pinkbike or email for further details. I am happy to speak with you about them as well, but prefer email for initial contact to avoid spam phone calls on my cell. Thanks for your interest!
