Great XC mountain bike. Changed the rear shock out a couple years ago. All new drivetrain with zero miles on it. This bike hasn't been ridden in 3-4 years, and holding onto it for sentimental value only. Rode it through Tibet and Japan, even hooked up a BOB trailer to this to bike tour. This road bike is stiff and extremely responsive, and handles amazingly well. The bike is lighter than most lower end carbon bikes, at a much better price point. This model was the last ‘Handmade in the USA’ bike made. (says so on the frame also). The following years have all been made overseas. Read some reviews on this bike, it’s light and fast. It’s been well taken care of, comes with Look Keo pedals and Cannondale bottle cage. Recently the bar tape has been replaced, and new cables with white housing. Upgrades include an Easton EC70 carbon handlebar, SRAM Force carbon cranks, and a carbon seat post. It’s also made to go fast with a 53/39 chainring setup. Specialized S-Works Shiv - Triathlon / Time Trial bike *flexible with price Price dropped to $3500 OBO. Added pictures here with Mavic Cosmics. Internally cabled with Di2 DuraAce 7970 electronic shifting, there's nothing like it, never miss a shift. The Shiv is equipped with both brake lever shifter pods AND aero bar end shifter pods. This makes for easy shifting while aero or while climbing. I've never had an issue with this bike, and just had it serviced. I live in Nanaimo, BC. The size is Small. I'm 173cm (5-8) so it would perhaps fit between 5-6-5-10. It has been sadly underutilized. Overall it has only about 1200km on it. It was used at Worlds, then mostly just 20-40k TT's. It is an absolute beauty of a bike. I have a whole whack of spacers and bolts included to adjust the stack height. I also added an extender to the bottle cage so you can take the di2 battery out for charging anytime without unscrewing the bottle cage. The battery lasts about 1500km (again, I haven't reached that point).
