If you are a classic steel-road-enthusiast , this should get you attention! Hand-Built by the "frame builders "Hall of Fame" frame builder Bill Davidson out of Seattle, Washington (since 1974). I found this road racing bike in hardly ridden condition that had the original rubber ,that was all dry rotted ,including the "Turbo " selle Italia saddle. It was stored in a basement for most of its existence.Every component is Dura-ace ,except for the cassette.(Dura-ace Seatpost and headset original) Well. I've fixed it up and upgrade the necessary components to make it a 18-speed ,instead of a 12-speed that it was originally .Got rid of the 42-52 chainrings to a 39-52 configuration along with a 12-27( Ultegra) cassette. The hubs are 32 hole shimano Dura-ace 7700 9-speed hubset / Silver Mavic Open Pro's ( professionally built recently) instead of the 36 hole MA40's. I replaced the dry rotted "turbo" for a yellow San Marco"Rolls" . The frame has typical scratches and one little ding on the lower seat stay. I 've never wrecked this bike and I have prepped the frame so that it won't rust. This bike is very good shape for a near thirty year old bike that is a pleasure to ride and difficult to find one like it. I kept as much original as I could ,but made it much more ride able.
