Race Preview

Welcome to Round #2 of the 2022 Norco Canadian Enduro Series presented by Leatt. After an incredible start to the season in Kamloops, the series travels to Crowsnest Pass. Nestled on the Alberta border and surrounded by mountains, this small town has a very big mountain feel to it. The United Riders of Crowsnest have done an incredible job of creating a must-ride network of trails with two great zones - Pass Powderkeg and York Creek. Both provide a very unique and different style of trail. We're stoked to be back and cannot thank the Crowsnest community and United Riders of Crowsnest enough for having us!

The Course

Riders will face 6 stages, 2 on Saturday and 4 on Sunday, split across the two trail networks. At just over 50km, this weekend will not be a walk in the park! With the split schedule, riders have limited practice time on Saturday, bringing back an element of blind racing. Racers will have to pick and choose which stages they want to practice in the limited time available.

Stages 1 and 2 on Saturday are both held at the Pass Powderkeg trail network, with riders tackling Buck 50 for Stage 1 and Spare Change to Berma Grin for Stage 2. Both trails are fast and flowy, a great way to start the weekend.

Sunday starts with a fairly decent pedal over to the York Creek network to Stage 3 and Big Bear. It wouldn't be a Crowsnest enduro without racing this iconic trail. Riders tackle School of Rock next and Whistling Post, stages 4 and 5 respectively, before heading back to Pass Powderkeg for the final stage, Spare Change to Root's O'Hazard.

We're incredibly lucky to have access to these great trails and love it when our riders show their support of the trails by donating to the local mountain bike association. This goes a huge way to helping ensure these trails are here and maintained for many years to come! To donate, check out United Riders Of Crowsnest.

Whoaaaa crazy to see this on here. I grew up here and these are the trails that got me into a life long obsession. It's wild to see the evolution of mountain biking in the Pass.
