Fun and capable single speed 29er. I elected to keep the rigid front fork and Deore brakes. I can include Shimano SPDs for a bit extra. The bike is in excellent condition, no crashes. An overview: Salsa's El Mariachi SS is their trick take on the singlespeed: one gear, rigid, with no provisions for derailleurs… a single-bladed Swiss Army knife you might say. Salsa's Kung Fu triple-butted chromoly frame delivers a lively and comfortable ride and it has their proven Alternator dropouts for secure chain tensioning, and quick wheel on/off. Salsa also shortened the chainstays and updated the geometry for an awesome overall feel and superior agility on the trails. It rolls on big, 29-inch Salsa/Stan's wheels wrapped in grippy Schwalbe rubber to haul you over the techy stuff, while Shimano's Deore discs slow things down with ease when you're having a little too much fun. You'll also appreciate the versatile 32/18 gearing, while the quality Salsa bars and stem and the choice WTB saddle keep you in control.
