$1500 CADTHIS, is one of the first Canadian built rough and rugged DH brawlers. Built before high pivot was all the rage, this 9” travel bike blasts over rough, square edge terrain.
I have owned this bike for 7 years and updated / replaced every part on it with the exception of the crank arms, seat post and seat.
I haven’t ridden it in 4 years so it needs some suspension service and new brakes. The Fox DHX 5.0 shock is buttery smooth and so is the 888 fork, although it should get some new seals and oil before hitting the trails.
Main triangle is box aluminum. Rear triangle is Cro-moly.
Here is some additional background on this vintage DH classic.

Parts List:
Marzzochi 888 RV (2008)
Fox DHX 5.0 Coilover 600lb spring (2011) (I think I have lighter springs to include)
780mm Answer Pro Taper AL handlebar
ODI Peaty Grips
Funn direct mount stem
Woodman headset
Juicy 7 Brakes - 203mm rotors
SRAM X7 9speed shifter and derailuer
Raceface DH seat post
WTB Silverado seat
E13 bashguard and chain guide
Truvativ Hollzfeller 7075 crank arms
Wellgo flat pedals
Mavic 729EX rims, 26”
SRAM HUGI FR hubs

Schwalbe Big Betty and Magic Mary included
I would prefer local pickup but willing to ship at buyer’s expense. I will also charge $100 to disassemble and pack the bike. Expect shipping to be expensive given the bike weighs 46lbs and the box will be a bike box.
I also have the original 2001 Marzzochi Shiver fork for sale - $500 firm in a separate post coming soon. (single photo included to illustrate Shiver on the bike)

Bike has been well cared for. Suspension service completed Spring 2019. New Teflon shifter and dropper cables installed Spring 2019. Bike runs silently and the suspension is buttery smooth. It’s ride ready!!
This is a great do it all bike dripping in carbon. Naked it weighs 27lbs. From heli-drops in the Rockies to Ontario XC races it has done it all. Normal cosmetic wear and tear is apparent.
Note: this bike does not have the TwinLoc suspension switch installed but the switch mechanism is included.
Buyer pays packing and shipping costs.
