Apr 18, 2019Cannondale F29 Carbon Hard-tail
$1000 USDI wont get too wordy here,
This was the bike given to Cannondale's professional XC team to race on in 2014. You'll have to deal with the sponsor's logos on the frame and the wording "factory racing" because of it.
If you can look past the aesthetics its a great bike though. If you do happen to be the racing type... this thing is fast and has seen its fair share of race days. It's current weight is about 22lbs and its snappy.
I've rode this bike quite a bit, this is absolutely a used bike. That being said, it is a GOOD used bike.
The front fork works amazingly (the lockout works perfect)
The entire drive train got replaced less than 100 miles ago, (that means new derailleur/chain/all cogs in back and front: cost a little over $400)
I have a spare front derailleur that can convert the bike from its current 1x10 to a 2x10
Stans-Tubless rims w Maxxis Ardent tires
I have a brooks saddle on it now, but I think I'll keep that and put the original race seat back on it (picture included)
I have a pair of crankworks pedals on it right now too, but I haven't decided whether or not to keep them yet. Happy to discuss that later.
This bike is used, and I hope the price reflects that. I many of the same bikes here on pink bike going for prices much closer to 1500 or 2000.
Hard to let go an old trust bike like this, but I'm looking for a bike to do some bike packing on and I can't afford both.
Please reach out with offers or questions, Thanks!
