This winter marks my fourth winter spent in British Columbia, and trust me...it gets difficult up until winter solstice when the sun is up for only a few hours. Even then, you still may never see it with the cloud coverage and poor visibility. But inevitably, spring is on its way, and the days begin to lengthen. The snow begins to melt off my favorite local trails and each day brings a few more minutes of sunlight, before fading behind the mountains of Sproatt and Rainbow. The ground is in the best condition it will be for the rest of the season before thousands of bike tires make their way down...or up... This is my favorite time of year.
Get out there, get amongst it, play with your friends, and ride all the bikes. The bike season waits for no one.
Thanks for spending a day in the woods with me Ride More Studios and Evolution Whistler for servicing my bikes throughout the winter!

I've spent the day at my favourite local bike shop, Red Shred's in Williams Lake, where I picked up the exact same bike you are riding in this video: The Transition Carbon Patrol in black. It snowed all day here in the Interior and I'm itching to test my new ride.
Your video is making the wait less painful.
Big fan of Transition bikes, here's mine: www.pinkbike.com/photo/13222380
