akta MTB Launches S26 Apparel and Protection Collection
@ebikederangementsyndrome: I find the traditional pocket placement or cargo pocket placement super distracting when riding so never use them. Whatever is in the pocket moves around and I can always tell something is in there. However this style with the angled pocket on the side of your thigh is perfect. I can’t tell the phone is in there regardless if I’m pedaling or doing gravity riding. I’ve also taken a couple big slams on my side and the phone was unscathed so that D3O pad seems to actually help!

For casual or riding? The side pocket placement on their riding pants/shorts is so perfect as it fits the contour of your thigh so you can't really tell it's there. Plus the D3O pad over the pocket is such a nice touch. Race Face used to do this on their Ambush shorts for years and years. Was always nice feature as you couldn't really feel your phone in there when you're riding.

Santa Cruz Nomad CC w/ WAO, T-Type, Marz Super Z, X2

$6500 CAD
I’m selling a very lightly ridden Santa Cruz Nomad CC which I purchased as a frame set in April 2025 and built up from there. Full disclosure I may have bought this after riding one in Oaxaca, Mexico (after too many Mezcals) as it was one of the best bikes I’d had the pleasure of riding. After I built mine up, thankfully it was still as amazing without the influence of mezcal. Incredibly planted feeling, but still plenty lively due to the MX wheels. Furthermore, I built mine up with E13 Sidekick hubs which allows the suspension to always remain active and offer more traction even when you’re hard on the brakes. Bike has less than 20 hours ride time on it as I spent most of my time on my e-bike. Full build spec as follows: -Frame: Santa Cruz Nomad CC Frame in XL -Fork: Marzocchi Super Z -Shock: Fox X2 Performance Elite(2025 version with the new mono tube design) -Drivetrain: SRAM GX T-Type -Wheels: We Are One Triad Rims on E13 Sidekick Hubs -Brakes: SRAM Code Ultinate Stealth -Droppper: SDG Tellis V2 200mm -Saddle: SDG B-RAGE Apollo -Bars: We Are One Da Bar 35mm rise -Stem: Race Face Turbine R 32mm Any other questions please hit me up!

Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay

$4999 CAD
If you ask anyone that knows me, they'd say when it comes to the bike I'm riding I have an attention span of a grasshopper. I tend to ride bikes for a season and then flip them to try something new. So the fact that I purchased this in June of 2024 and have kept it since then is a true testament to how much I love this thing. In fact it's been damn near impossible to get myself to commit to selling it, however the time has come. As such I am selling my 2024 Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay in size Large. This was purchased as a complete A50 model. I purchased this immediately after demoing one for a weekend in Bentonvile, AR as I loved it so much. Since then it has been my go to bike and has had everything other than the cranks, bar and stem upgraded. The core of the bike is built off the Dyname 4.0 drive system with 700w of peak power and 108nM powered from a 720Wh battery. I know Avinox is the most talked about drive system on the market right now, but the Dyname is the underdog that has the stats to rival it along with being in the market for over 10 years so has a track record and ample domestic (Canada) support. The majority of my riding is in Trail mode where the Dyname 4.0 system puts out 54nM of power so has ample power to make everything faster and more fun, yet has a battery life to easily let me do a 50km+ lap with 1,700m elevation gain. The motor has 2667km on it and has been absolutely bombproof. After burning through several XT drivetrains on this thing, I bit the bullet and upgraded to a full SRAM XX T-Type drivetrain. Holy $hit, I should have done that originally. Not only is the drivetrain massively more durable (chain is measuring under 50% wear with 1,000km on it), the shifting is just so much better overall on it. The bike came stock with Deore 4-pot brakes which should be illegal to spec on such a fast bike as they always struggled to slow it down and would burn through rotors. As such I upgraded the brakes to SRAM Maven Ultimates and like the T-Type drivetrain, the upgrade was unbelievable. Incredible modulation and endless power. The power (and colour) was the perfect match for the Powerplay. On the suspension, I tried to had a Vorspung Secus to the stock Zeb Select fork and while that helped, the fork just always either felt under or over damped regardless of how you set it up. I upgraded the front to a Zeb Ultimate and the rear to a Vivid Air Ultimate. Now it's incredibly plush off the top, but still both ends have plenty of pop to keep it lively and a very controllable suspension curve so it feels perfect. The wheels had to be upgraded to my favorite We Are One's as the stock WTB rims felt incredibly flexy on hard cornering, but also the rear imploded relatively quickly. It's now set up with a Triad front and Deal rear rim laced to I9 Hydra hubs. Incredibly stiff for cornering, but the Convergence rim profile helps dampen the trail chatter. Finally, the stock post was upgraded to the SDG Tellis V2 becuase I trust it more than anything else out there and I replaced the a$$ hatchet WTB seat with a SDG Bel-Air V3 MAX with plush Air Foam padding. Fully specs below. Not super motivated to sell this, but certainly open to offers. Frame - Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay -2667km on the odometer Fork - Rock Shox Zeb Ultimate Shock - Rock Shox Vivid Air Ultimate Derailleur - SRAM XX T-Type Cassette - SRAM XX T-Type Shifter - SRAM Pod Brakes - SRAM Maven Ultimate Cranks - Race Face Ride w/ 32t chainring Rims - We Are One Triad Front/Deal Rear Hubs - I9 Hydra Tires - CAST Antagonist/Protagonist (Possibly the most underrated tire out there) Seatpost - SDG Tellis V2 200mm (can swap to 170mm) Saddle - SDG Bel-Air V3 MAX Grips - SDG Thrice Bar - Rocky Mountain AM 780mm Wide Stem - Rocky Mountain AM 40mm
