Thanks man! I was very inspired by Rivendell. Slmost did the double top tube but the builder suggested a modified mixte based on a Lejune Campeur :https://www.google.ca/search?q=lejeune+campeur&espv=2&biw=1436&bih=801&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjN8eurpIrMAhXlsIMKHVT_BM4Q_AUIBygC

Custom Fillet Brazed Steel 650B Randonneur Touring

$2450 CAD
Selling my custom randonneur/touring bike I had built 3 years ago. Reduced from $2950 to $2450. Much less than building this bike from parts and having the frame built. 62cm seat tube - 57cm top tube Tall and short, perfect for tall people with shorter torsos (like me). I love the bike, but want to do version 2.0 with slightly different sizing and want to start with a clean slate. The frame and fork were built in Toronto by a friend. You can read about that here: http://cycleops-into.blogspot.ca/2012/08/650b-project-and-defective-crown.html http://cycleops-into.blogspot.ca/2012/08/front-triangle.html http://cycleops-into.blogspot.ca/2012/09/a-bunch-of-racks.html The bike is a 650B randonneuring/touring bike with racks, fenders, lights, etc. The bike has some nice ($$$) goodies on it: - 3 x 8 drivetrain. SunRingle chainrings with XTR cassette. - Dura ace 8 speed bar end shifters. - Nitto Noodle 48cm heat treated bar. - Nitto tallux stem 7cm. - Supernova E3 Pro with matching tail light (brightest out there). Through frame wiring, super clean. Everything soldered and sealed with heat shrink tubing. - Light custom mounted on custom randonneur rack to accept a handlebar bag (I never got around to that project). You can buy any one you want and it should mount with a different decaleur. - Schmidt dynamo hub (the best on the market) - Custom rack system that allows the removal of the front lowrider racks if desired. Everything bolts together. - Wheels are 650B Velocity Synergy rims (rear offset). Rear hub is Shimano Tiagra, and front is Schmidt dynamo. - Grand Bois Hetre 42c tires. - Schwalbe tubes. Assembled by an experienced mechanic and kept in great shape. In 3 years I had a coupkle small falls on streetcar tracks which resulted in scrapes, some to the bike and mostly to my body. Get in touch to see the bike. Jeremy

Rocky Mountain Altitude 29 - Excellent shape

$1995 CAD
Selling my 2010 Rocky Mountain Altitude 29. King rear hub, Formula R1 brakes, new pads, all new cables/housing. This was the first year of the bike, and I understand made in Vancouver before the production of this model was transferred to Taiwan. The frame remained unchanged on future models, only parts changed. Bought brand new and ridden more in the first few years and less-so in the last 1-2, hence selling. Making room for new bike projects. Bike is priced as 50% of new bike cost ($4200) + King Hub ($400) = $4600/2 = $2300 + new cables/housing and full overhaul $250 = $2550. Highlights: - XT 9 speed drivetrain - reliable and cheap replacement parts. - Race Face cranks/BB. - Formula R1 brakes with new pads. 180mm rotors = great stopping. - Stan's ZTR rims Just overhauled everything so all is as close to new as possible save for the odd scratch. Full-length cable housing upgrade for reliability and durability. LOVE the bike and everything works great. I used it for general riding, a couple of 24 hour races. It is the perfect bike for Ontario like Albion, the Don, etc. I have also ridden it in Santa Cruz, CA and it handled that extremely well. Upgraded rear hub to Chris King for better engagement. New Easton bar and shorter Rocky Mountain stem. Suspension (fork and rear shock) rebuilt by Silent Sports (thanks guys) with all new seals and oil last year. Barely used since. Newer drivetrain (chain cassette, chainrings). Being 9 speed, it's reliablke and parts are cheap. Converted to 2 x 9 with a bash guard since I never really used the big ring and I like clearing logs. All suspension pivots have been ckecked and maintained throughout the bike's life. I never used high pressure water (pressure washer) on the bike so all the bearings are smooth and will last a long time.
