Feb 22, 2020Specialized Stumpjumper 29 Carbon Expert (L) NEW PRICE
$2999 USDUp for sale is a 2016 Specialized Stumpjumper 29 Expert Carbon in a size large. I purchased this bike new when I was a mechanic at River City Bicycles in Portland, Oregon. Since purchasing, I’ve upgraded many of the parts and kept it in excellent running condition. It’s been ridden a lot, but not much in the past year (after having a child). Since I’m not riding nearly as much as I used to, it’s time to sell.
Here are the details and a list of tasteful upgrades:
Wheels: hand built by Sugar Wheelworks in Portland - Hope Pro 4 hubs, Stan’s Flow MK3 rims, black Sapim spokes, black brass nipples (32 hole, 3x)
Tires: Rear - Maxxis High Roller 2 (2.3”), Front - Maxxis Minion DHF (2.3”)
Bar: Race Face 6XC Carbon Bar 20mm rise (cut to 770mm)
Stem: Race Face Atlas 50mm
Grips: ODI Pro lock-on
Drivetrain: Shimano XT 11spd (8000 series), 32t chainring, KMC gold chain, and 11-42 XT cassette, Wheels Manufacturing BB
Brakes: Shimano XT single piston
Rear Shock: Rock Shox Monarch+ w/ autosag (also have original Fox Kashima shock to be included in sale) 135mm travel
Dropper: Specialized Command IRCC (fresh full rebuild)
Saddle: Specialized Henge (143mm)
Fork: Rock Shox pike 140mm travel with new CSU, new air shaft, and fresh rebuild
$2999 (prefer local sales, but will consider shipping)

Review: Santa Cruz Bronson V3
@makripper:
Yeah, that’s about the year I really got into riding and after saving for a year or two, I was able to purchase one of the nicest steel hardtails at my local shop for just under $1000. That was pretty much the best bike in the shop at the time.
