Shifts crisply, brakes are solid and were bled spring 2023, pads are still fairly fresh (70% wear), fork/shock serviced winter 2023 (seals look good, no oil leaks). Stanchions are clean and blemish/scratch free. Rotors are worn slightly but not tracked/pitted. Frame has minor blemishes and cosmetic scratches from use and shuttling but nothing major. Tires still have good life left in them – new August 2023 and only about 2 months light riding on them. Grips are worn but still have some life left in them. Chain is at 40-50% wear – doesn’t skip on the ring or cassette (bike comes with a fresh SRAM XO 12-spd chain as well). Pedals not included, unless you want some older Shimano SPDs that are kinda worn. Saddle shown on bike not for sale. Does not come with a saddle.

Bike is used in good mechanical condition and is sold as-is. Shifts well, chain is at 30-40% wear and shifts crisply through all gears. Brakes fully bled spring 2023 and re-bled August 2023. Pads are new August 2023. Rotors fairly new – can’t remember when they were replaced but not burnt/tracked out. Tires are new August 2023 and have 5-7 rides on them. Suspension pivot hardware replaced winter 2023. OneUp dropper new spring 2023 (lever is re-purposed from a 9.8 dropper post – you can have that other post if you want it). Saddle and grips are new off a 2023 Hightower. Shock, fork, and hubs haven’t been serviced in a year plus but are running smooth. Bike has plenty of small cosmetic scratches – it’s used, after all. Stickers on the fork are scratched up, but the shock and fork stanchions are all blemish and scratch free. Seals are in good condition generally and not leaking oil. Shock holds air well. No suspension creaks or other noises. Cranks are cosmetically worn from shoe rub but in good condition. BB is quiet and smooth. Pedals not included.

This bike is an awesome way to step it up in park and on more classical DH trails. I’m selling it because I don’t have a ton of time to ride DH anymore. I held on to this bike for a while because I love it so much and it really is a great tool for riding in more challenging terrain. I’m 5’2 and 130 pounds and I really appreciated having the air shock instead of the coil shock. It gave the bike a playfulness that you just don’t get with coils and I honestly think it helped me build skills faster. Yes it has 26 inch wheels, but as someone who has bikes with all three wheel sizes at this point, I really don’t notice the wheel size as much when I’m hauling through rock gardens. If you’re looking to get into downhilling and are seeking a confidence inspiring bike, this bike is a great way to progress. Frame: V10 C? Lightly used 2017 Santa Cruz V10 (27.5" wheel size) downhill bike - built for race speed but SUPER fun in the park. I'm selling this bike 'cause I got older and less bolder. I used to suit up and ride DH - and now I'm not quite as brave as I was. So my loss is your gain. I rode this bike starting in 2016 until 2019 and then pretty much stopped (model year is 2017 - I got it early in '16). It's always been well taken care of (washed after riding, service when needed, etc.). Still on the original drivetrain (chain is at 60% and shifts cleanly). Seriously - if you want to start riding lifts or shuttling more, this is a great bike for it. So fun - so easy to handle - so capable. Hard to go wrong!
